MELISSA KHOEUM

HI THERE, I’M MELISSA KHOEUM. I AM A PRODUCT MANAGER, LICENSING STRATEGIST, AND AUTHOR.

ABOUT

I’m currently the Director of Product Management at Moose Toys, where I lead and scale Licensed, Preschool, and Construction categories. My specialty lies in toy product development, building IPs with exponential CPG potential, and exploring the intersection of licensing and publishing.

My product journey began in 2015 with a bold idea: a web series discovery site called Vyoodit. It featured 200+ shows and integrated commerce. The project took me to an IBM accelerator at SXSW and attracted investor interest—but more importantly, it sparked my passion for Product Management.

I got my toy industry start at Skyrocket Toys, where I wore every hat imaginable. From line planning and rapid prototyping to licensing management and app development, I treated every late night as a masterclass in toy creation. It was my unofficial Toy MBA and the place where my hustle met its purpose.

At Moose Toys, I’ve helped build the LA product team from the ground up and lead development across globally recognized brands. I love translating bold ideas into innovative, shelf-ready products that kids (and retailers) love.

Outside of work, I’m a mom, children’s book author, and nature-loving snack enthusiast. I dabble in video editing, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and hiking—but my favorite creative project right now is crafting life lesson books and videos for my kids.

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to explore my work or reach out!
